Description:
You will act as a full stack developer for the Section 7 DAT team in a fast-paced role improving the mission process for the customer. The organization is focused on discovery of opportunities and enabling activities in numerous technical fields. The candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering custom applications, providing data visualization, workflow automation, and mission cognizance for mission critical activities. You will work closely with the mission customer, collect requirements, feedback  and provide support as needed on a wide variety of tasks. The DAT provides software development in a customer service like role where requirements can change rapidly based on customer current needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into unique questions.
  • Find and aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate into new and existing tools.
  • Develop new UIs and visualizations to provide customers with better understanding of their data.
  • Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other DATs and QC teams to share expertise and elevate all teams.
Skills Requirements:
  • Experience developing in Python specifically data transformations .
  • Experience writing frontend webapps in Javascript/Typescript React.
  • Experience querying and developing in a big data environment.
  • Experience developing on managing Linux servers.
  • Is comfortable work directly with customers and users to solve unique hard problems.
  • Desire to architect and implement solutions from beginning to end.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience using AWS.
  • Experience with any other programming languages or frameworks (Java, FastApi, Angular, Spring Boot etc.).
  • Desire to mentor and teach others.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and Big Data Tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).

YOE Requirement: 12 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
Location: R&E

$230k-$280k (Annually)*
