System Engineer - 4 (HPC systems and analytics)

Description:
Assists with the allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Coordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
Manages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s).
Requirements of SE4 for ATI project:
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.

- Will provide System Engineering support for the division responsible for identifying and maturing advanced technologies and architectures for the next generation HPC systems and analytics.
- Will conduct near-term technology research and development.
- Will need to be familiar with technical research writing, and technical enough to represent the organization in meetings and working sessions.
